US: FBI detains 3 Kenyans for ISIS links

MOGADISHU, Somalia – The United States’ Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) agents have detained 3 Kenyan nationals whom it suspected to have links with Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS).

FBI says suspects who pledged allegiance to the Islamic state were arrested in Lansing, Michigan.

The suspects were identified as Mohamed Salat Haji, Mohamud Abdikadir Muse and Muse Abdikadir Muse.

Mr. Muse Abdikadir Muse was nabbed while on transit to Somalia.

The arrest comes a week after Somali armed group Al Shabaab claimed deadly attack hotel in Kenya’s capital Nairobi, leaving 21 people dead.
