The UN Security Council has started discussion on Somalia situation,
days after Somalia announced to have ordered UN ambassador to leave
from the war-ravaged nation of Somalia
Haysom was expelled over questioning about the arrest of an extremist
group defector-turned-political candidate, Mukhtar Robow in Baidoa, a
town lies about 250km southwest of Mogadishu.
The U.N. Security Council meeting was scheduled to discuss on the Horn
of Africa nation.
Haysom will explain about the legal basis of last month’s arrest of
Mukhtar Robow. He was a deputy leader of the al-Shabab Islamic
extremist group but defected in 2017.
The expulsion of Haysom will also be focused the discussion.
