UN says 6 children killed by KDF troops in Somalia
Kenyan forces under African Union mission in Somalia (AMISOM) have been accused of six children last year, according to a new report issued by United Nations.
UN says six children under age 18 were killed in airstrikes carried out by Kenyan fighter jets in Somalia.
The UN report had also accused Al-Shabaab of being responsible for the deaths of 208 other children under age 18.
There has been no response from
Kenya Defence Forces over the allegation.
In Somalia in 2017, “most child casualties resulted from crossfire during military operations, mortar shelling, improvised explosive devices, explosive remnants of war and air strikes,” the UN recounted.
