Mareeg.com- Lawyers from Holland are advocating against a plan by US authorities who want one of Siyad Barre’s grandsons held in Turkey for allegations on terrorism to be extradited to USA. This man who is called Ahmed is due to get a judgment from a Turkish court on 22nd May this year. Ahmed
who is 22 year old at the moment was accused of terrorism but he denies of any
wrongdoing. Ahmed is currently a Holland’s National, a nationality he was given
after his family migrated to Holland in 1990s. He lived there in the
Netherlands till he was 17. Later on, he moved to Britain where he studied aircraft Mechanics. Ahmed moved to Egypt where he was arrested at Tora Prison in Cairo. Eventually, the Egyptian authorities have exiled him
to Turkey in March this year
