WASHINGTON, Oct 30 (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump is likely to pick Federal Reserve Governor Jerome Powell as the next chair of the U.S. central bank, a source familiar with the matter said on Monday. An announcement on whom Trump will choose is expected on Thursday, a White House official said separately.
