MOGADISHU — Somali capital has hosted massive rally against recent truck bombing claimed by the terrorist group Al Shabaab that killed 90 people and wounded more than 140 others.
Thursday’s protest organized by city’s mayor to pray for those killed and injured in Saturday’s truck bombing at the Ex-control Afgoye On Dec 28.
Somali extremist group al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the attack tgrough its website.
The group said its main target was Turkish convoy escorting by Somali soldiers.
Two Turkish nationals were also killed in the attack.
The two victims were working on a Qatar-funded road project on Afgoye -Mogadishu main road.
