Mareeg.com-Suspects persons and illegal firearms were seized in Kismayo. This followed sustained swoops which have been underway for several days in the different neighborhoods of Kismayo
The people who were captured in these operations were suspected to be members of Al-shabaab. Head
of Security in Kismayo told the media that the authorities have apprehended
people who were involving in robberies and weapons. He added that the suspects
were many and that the authorities are carrying out investigations on them.
He also said that there are places within Kismayo where the authorities suspect that members of
Al-shabaab may be hiding and he asserted that they would continue the
