Somalia’s Al Shabaab attacks on US military base in Kenya

MOGADISHU, Somalia – Somali armed group al Shabaab says it has on Sunday carried out a massive attack on a US military base in Lamu county of Kenya.

The attack started with a suicide bomb explosion on Camp Simba in Manda Bay, then gunmen fought on their way to inside.

The group says its fighters had taken effective control of a part of the base” following the Sunday morning attack.

It is too early to the exact figure of casualty.

Reports say a suicide bomber involved in the attack on Camp Simba in Manda Bay.
