Somalia:Al-shabaab rebels paraded kenya soldiers
Pro-Alqaeda Al-shabaab group in southern Somalia have marched dozens of captured Kenya government’s soldiers through the city of jilib village close to kismanyo city this Friday morning.
Crowds lined the streets “watching” as the defeated-looking prisoners walked by. Kenya Somali border areas has been the scene of the heaviest fighting since the Kenya soldiers cross into the Somali border. Somali official condemned the parading of captured soldier soldiers as in humane.
Al-Shabab Islamist militants was behind the attack on a police station in north-eastern Kenya, near the border with Somalia.
It was reported that two police officers were injured in the raid on Hamey, which is not far from the town of Garissa, and many more cannot be accounted for. “The fighters were able to take over the entire police station as most of the officers ran away, al-Shabab said.”
