Somalia: Two killed in explosion at Internet cafe in Mogadishu

MOGADISHU, Somalia – At least two people have been killed and two others injured in explosion at Internet café in Somali capital Mogadishu.

The explosion went off when unknown men hurled grenade bombs into the internet café in Bondhere district of Mogadishu, a witness said.

He says the explosion killed two people and two others were also injured.

The victims were taken into hospital for medical treatment.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the explosion.

But, such attacks are often carried out by al Qaeda linked Al Shabaab.

The group has been fighting against Somali army and African Union troops for more than ten years in Somalia.
