Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
They discussed relations and enhancing cooperation in security, trade, and investment.
President Mohamud stressed unity in fighting the Al Shabab group, an al Qaeda-linked group in Somalia.
He praised Turkey’s support for peace and development in Somalia.
President Erdoğan reaffirmed Türkiye’s support in the fight against Al Shabab.
He also pledged continued help to rebuild Somalia’s army and economy as well.
