Afgooye (Mareeg.com)– AMISOM peacekeeping troops have been deployed in some districts and divisions that fall under the lower Shabelle region after a prolonged inter clan fighting’s in the lower Shabelle region for the past few days.
The 2 rival clans who have been fighting for the past months have been separated and intervened by the AMISOM troops by locating them at two divisions El-Jaale and Arbiska which fall under the lower Shabelle region.
The news has been confirmed to Shabelle by Abdullahi Omar Abshir who is currently serving in the Somali federal Gov’t.
The two rival clans have been fighting at lambar Konton residency for the past month and extended to other districts in the the volatile Lower Shabelle region.
