Somalia Slams Israeli Violations at Qatar Summit

Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud addressed an emergency Arab-Islamic summit in Qatar, focused on Israel’s recent regional military actions.

President Mohamud expressed strong solidarity with Qatar, calling the attack a violation against all Arab nations and a threat to regional peace and unity.

“We reaffirm Somalia’s consistent support for Palestine”, he said, urging Islamic and Arab states to cooperate in defending Palestinian rights against Israeli occupation and aggression.

He called for concrete steps toward a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, urging enforcement of UN resolutions and international law.
