Somalia: Interpol wanted Minister arrested in Mogadishu

MOGADISHU – Somalia’s Jubaland regional minister Abdirashid Janan, who is wanted by Interpol was detained at the airport in the capital of Mogadishu.

Janan was taken into custody for further interrogations.

Deputy Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources says Janan has “committed crimes” against the people of Gedo and neighboring zones in Somalia.
