Somalia: Government orders all airplanes to and from Kismayo to stop over Mogadishu
The Somali Civil Aviation Authority has issued a directive for flights to and from Kismayo, the interim Jubaland administration headquarters to stop over at the Capital city Mogadishu.
The Aviation and Air safety Agency says that this order is check and monitor aircraft to and from the city of Kismayo.
Jubbaland administration led by Ahmed Madobe canceled flights to Kismayo during the Jubbaland leadership elections.
The decision by the federal government of Somalia is not clear if it is politically motivated, as ahmed modobe is expected to make celebratory ceremony for what international partners call shadowy election in Kismayo last week.
The Jubbaland administration has not yet commented on the order of the Federal Government of Somalia on flights to and from Kismayo, and Jubbaland is expected to release information in the coming hours.
The election has met criticism by international community and federal government as unfair election. The Members of new parliament includes former lawmakers and Madobe body guards also in there are Others who work for the President as well as other members of the his inner circles of current leader Ahmed madobe friends.
