Somalia: Foreign engineers injured near Mogadishu

MOGADISHU, Somalia – Roadside bomb explosion has wounded at least four people, including two foreigners near Somali capital Mogadishu.

The explosion reportedly ripped through a vehicle carrying two foreign electronic engineers and two other local workers near the capital, a witness said.

He says the victims were rushed into hospital for medical treatment.

It is unclear the nationalities of the foreigners.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bomb attack.

The attack comes after suicide car bomb went off near petroleum ministry headquarters in the capital of Mogadishu, leaving two people dead.

Somali capital, Mogadishu has been hit by huge explosions and assassinations, with some of those attacks were claimed by Al Shabaab.
