Somalia: Ethiopian migrants killed in bus attack near Hargeisa

MOGADISHU, Somalia – Two Ethiopian migrants were killed and two others injured in bus attack near Hargeisa town, the capital of Somaliland, a self-declared state, internationally considered being an autonomous region of Somalia.

Somaliland police say two migrants were killed when unknown gunmen opened fire on a bus they were traveling in near the town.

The police said rescue workers evacuated two others into hospital after sustaining gunshot injuries.

In a statement, police said its soldiers had arrested 3 gunmen, who carried out the dreadful shooting.

The suspects were taken into the police station for further interrogations.

There was no immediate word from Ethiopian authorities over the attack which two of its citizens were shot dead.
