Somalia’s intelligence Director Mahad Salad met his Ethiopian counterpart Ridwan Hussein in Addis Ababa Sunday to discuss enhanced intelligence and security collaboration.
The meeting focused on strengthening counter-terrorism cooperation, deepening ties between the two agencies, and coordinating efforts to improve national and regional security frameworks.
Both officials emphasized the urgency of accelerating joint operations against terrorist groups threatening Somalia, Ethiopia, and the Horn of Africa as well.
The visit marks growing efforts by both countries to confront shared security threats and build a unified regional approach to fighting extremism.
