Somalia, Egypt sign MOU on education

The Minister of Education and Higher Studies of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Abdulahi Godah Bare has held talks with his Egyptian Counterpart, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar in Cairo capital.

The two sides have discussed on wide range issues, including ties on the Education between Somalia and Egypt.

The two ministers signed Memorandum of Understanding which would be fruitful for the cooperation of the two Ministries.

” We requested the Minister to facilitate visas for the Somali Students finding scholarships from Egypt and the Minister promised to handle this as soon as possible”, Mr. Bare said

Both officials also discussed the importance of having agreements and cooperation among the universities of the two brotherly nations according to the Minister.
