MOGADISHU, Somalia – Fierce fighting broke out between Islamist group of Al Shabaab and government forces in Mogadishu, killing at least 4 soldiers dead.
The gun battle erupted last night after Al Shabaab fighters launched an ambush attack on bases manned by government forces at Jazeera area in Mogadishu.
The group claimed to have killed at least 4 soldiers during the fighting.
There was no immediate comment from Somali military officials over the claims.
