MOGADISHU, Somalia – At least one person has been killed and another wounded in bomb explosion on Tuesday in Somali capital Mogadishu.
The explosion went off vehicle near K-4 junction in the capital, leaving one dead, a witness said.
He says the car was traveling on Maka Al-Mukarama Road, but the target remains unclear.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for Tuesday’s explosion.
The attack comes a day after one person was killed in roadside bomb explosion in Somali capital Mogadishu.
Mogadishu has been hit by explosions and assassinations, with some of those attacks claimed by al Qaeda linked Al Shabaab.
The group has been waging insuregency fore more than ten years in Somalia.
The al Qaeda linked Al Shabaab was driven out of Mogadishu in 2011 after joint offensive carried out by Somali army and African Union troops.
