Somalia, China discuss bilateral relations
MOGADISHU, Somalia, – Somalia’s Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Said Haji Mohamud Farah received Chinese Ambassador Qin Jian to Mogadishu.
Mohamud and Jian discussed on ways to enhance bilateral relations between Beijing and Mogadishu.
The talks were dealt with the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and means of developing them in all fields, said in a statement released by the Ministry.
Mohamud accompanied by the Chinese ambassador, the Directors of Administration, Finance and Asia, toured the Ministry headquarters in the capital of Mogadishu.
The Ministry’s building has been undergoing extensive renovation and furnishing since the collapse of the central government in 1991.
