Somalia:Blast in Somali capital kills government official

Car bomb blast in Somali capital reportedly killed government official and wounded several people on Tuesday morning hours after another car bomb blast exploded near military checkpoint  ex-control Afogye outskirts of Mogadishu which resulted in five soldiers wounded.

A Govt official, Abdirahman Aflershe,  has been killed after bomb fitted in to his car which  exploded.The incident happened in Mogadishu’s Wabari district, officials confirmed.

Waberi district commissioner told local media after incident that they had conducted huge security operations in the area looking al-Shabaab suspects.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for Tuesday’s car bomb, but Somali Islamist group based in Somalia al-Shabaab threatened that it will launch deadly attacks against Somalis new government led by Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, who was elected earlier this February.
