Somali Foreign Minister Abdisalam Abdi Ali met Algerian Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui in Algiers on Sunday.
They discussed enhancing bilateral relations and coordination on major Arab issues, with a strong focus on supporting the Palestinian cause.
The meeting took place at the Government Palace and was also attended by Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf.
Minister Abdisalam conveyed greetings from Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune during the official talks.
He reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to strengthening ties with Algeria for peace, security, and development in Arab and African regions..
Algerian leaders were also c briefed on Somalia’s ongoing efforts to promote stability and security, along with recent developments in the Horn of Africa region.
