Somali president’s clan wanted him out as he is not tribal man More than 70 members of assembly led by honorable Abdikadir Osoble Ali have meet in a Mogadishu hotel yesterday to

discuss how to get more support to succeed their motion against the president.


Speaking to the media after the meeting Honorable Abdikadir Osoble who is leading the group has said the president should resign before the motion reaches the national assembly saying

president mohamud has failed to deliver the promises he made adding that he has

botched the expectations of the Somali citizens.


According to the Somali constitution the president can lose his position through vote of no confidence in the parliament.


Prime Minister Abdi Farah Shirdon was ousted by the parliament through vote of no confidence last year.
