Somali President returns home after visiting to Ethiopia
MOGADISHU, Somalia – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed has paid an unannounced visit to Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa.
Mohamed departed from Saudi Arabia to Ethiopia on Sunday, where he attended the 14th summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) which was addressed “current issues in the Muslim World.
He was warmly welcomed by Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed and other government officials on his arrival in the capital of Addis Ababa.
The two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries through cooperation in areas of mutual benefit, according to Ethiopian PM.
However, Somali President Mohamed concluded his visit to Ethiopia and returned back to the capital of Mogadishu.
