MOGADISHU— Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed has received the credentials presented by new ambassadors of two countries to Somalia at State House in Mogadishu.

The ambassadors are Juma Ahmed Al Kabi from Bahrain and Remy Barampama from Burundi.

Mohamed welcomed the ambassadors to Mogadisho and expressed his sincere greetings and good wishes to the leaders and people of their countries.

He attached great importance to developing ties with the countries and was ready to deepen political mutual trust cooperation while speaking highly of Somalia’s relations with Bahrain and Burundi.

The President Mohamed says his government would facilitate and support the work of the ambassadors to Mogadishu.

The new ambassadors will play an active role in promoting ties between our countries,” he hoped.

The ambassadors, however, conveyed cordial greetings from their state leaders to the top leadership of Somalia.

The two envoys also pledged to work for greater mutual understanding and friendship between their countries and Somalia.
