Somali president receives credentials from Mauritania Ambassador

MOGADISHU – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo has on Tuesday received credentials from the newly appointed Mauritania Ambassador to Somalia, Wadaadi Walad Sayid

The ambassador Sayid conveyed a message from his President of Mauritania, Ould Abdel AZIZ to Somali president Mohamed following the takeover his credentials in Mogadishu.

President Mohamed promised to work on boosting the relationship between the two countries, ensuring ongoing development support to Somalia.

For his part, Mauritania Ambassador, Wadaadi Walad Sayid congratulated the President and Somalia for the progress made across the nation.

He said Mauritania is aware of the hardship and the challenges under which the Somali government is operating.

However, Mr. Sayid thanked for the warm reception, and pledged to strength the relationship between his country and Somalia.
