MOGADISHU, Somalia – Somalia’s President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed has attended the 7th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD).
The TICAD7 summit which was co-chaired by Japan’s Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe kicked off in the city of Yokohama from Wednesday until Friday.
Mr. Mohamed is among other African leaders and representatives from the UN and AU, investors and experts who joined the summit.
Mohamed says Somalia is determined to work with the government of Japan and all TICAD partners to achieve stability, economic development, transfer knowledge and create opportunities.
The TICAD7 summit is a level international conference that focuses on the socio-economic development of Africa which was launched by Japan in 1993.
