Somali President Arrives in Djibouti

Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has arrived in Djibouti, the capital of Djibouti on Wednesday following an invitation

President Mohamud received a warm welcome from Foreign Minister of Djibouti, Abdoulkader Houssein Omar, upon his arrival.

He is scheduled to meet with Djiboutian President Ismail Omar Guelleh to discuss their longstanding relationship.

During the meeting, both leaders will focus on security, economic, political issues, and enhancing regional stability.

Djibouti shares a fraternal relationship with Somalia and has troops serving under African Union peace-keeping force in the country.
