Somali police arrest Al Shabaab suspect after bomb attack

MOGADISHU— Somali Police Force successfully apprehended a suspected Al Shabaab militant after grenade attack in the capital of Mogadishu.

Brig General Deputy Police Commissioner, Zakio Hussein says police forces captured an alleged Al Shabaab militant after throwing hand-grenade Police station in Wardhigley district of Mogadishu.

Hussein says the attacker ran into a house following a chase and shoot out and then he was captured alive.

“Our forces arrested a suspected Al-Shabaab militant who was holed up in house he fled to after throwing grenades”, she said.

The suspect was taken into police station for further investigations.
