MOGADISHU, Somalia – Somali Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire visited at blast scene where nine people were killed and 25 others injured some seriously in Mogadishu.
Mr. Khaire has strongly condemned the explosion while he also hailed the country’s security forces’ efforts to intercept 2nd car laden with explosives in Mogadishu.
He urged security forces to strengthen the overall security in the capital of Somalia.
Somali armed group al Shabaab has claimed the responsibility for Saturday’s double explosions.
Mogadishu has seen deadly terror attacks which left dozens dead, with those attacks claimed by al Qaeda linked al Shabaab.
The group has been fighting for more than ten years in Somalia.
