Somali PM to run for presidency calls for end political crises ahead of election
The First minister of the Somali federal government Master Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke has called for a solution for the long-standing political crises in the country and call for reconciliation between the communities.
Mr. Sharmarke has also announced his candidacy for the Office of president on Monday at a press conference he held in Mogadishu and said that Somalia needs a way-out for the current standoff and he can be find a way to resolve the current political instability.
“Somalia has been long-suffering by lack of effective government and good political leaders over the past 20 years, enough is enough, this should be should stop from now an onward,” he said.
Somali PM Omar Abdirashid Sharmarke was last one to announce his candidacy presidency in the forthcoming election which is scheduled to take place on October 30, 2016.Mr sharmarke’s father has been well know politician with in the greater Somalia. He was Somalia prime minister in 60’s.
