Somali Prime Minister, Hassan Ali Kheire has on Thursday sacked Minister of Education, Abdirahman Dahir Osman.

PM Khaire’s statement did not mention the reason for sacking but Osman was quoted by local media for reportedly saying that he doesn’t recognise existing universities in the country due to their poor academic functions.

The outgoing minister Osman’s post will be in charge the State minister of Education, Abdirahman Mohamud Abdulle.
