Somali Minister of Religious Affairs visits Somali pilgrims in Saudi Arabia

The Minister of Religious Affairs of the Government of the Republic of Somalia Iman Abdullahi Ali, accompanies by a government delegation participating in the Hajj this year, visited this year’s Somalia pilgrimage mission in Saudi Arabia.
Those who take part in the Hajj pilgrimage this year are estimated to be 7,000 and reside in Safa and Marwa as well as other areas in makka.
The Minister was accompanied by Deputy Minister of the Interior and Religious Affairs Osman Aden Dhuubow, Senator Prof. Osman Mohamoud Dufle of the Upper House of the Somali Parliament and other members of the Somali officials.
They minister talk to the Somali pilgrim’s community leaders asking their wellbeing and service they have received from Saudi authority and if there are problems that need to be addressed.
Also, he inspected those sites that are issuing identification cards for Somali pilgrims.
