Somali leaders accused of interfering regional elections

MOGADISHU, Somalia – The top leaders of Somali Federal government are facing allegations over destroying country’s regional state members, said in a statement released by  Somalia’s semi autonomous state of region Puntland.

The statement by Puntland said it is deeply concerned about the country’s federal leadership’s decision which it termed as is clearly against the peace process of the regional state members.

The statement called on the Federal government to stop its undressed interference of the upcoming president elections which were slated to hold in Galmudug and Jubaland regions of Somalia.

There was no immediate comment from the Federal government over the latest allegations of regional elections interference.
