Somali entrepreneur shot dead in Mogadishu
MOGADISHU, Somalia – Unknown gunmen have shot and killed a well-known bussinesman in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu.
The deceased, whose name has been released as Mohamed Mahamud Sheikh Ali, a head of Star up Grund campany, was gunned down by men armed with pistols near Banadir junction in the capital, a witness said.
He says the victim was hit several times on head and chest while sitting at Spaghetti House restuarant in Mogadishu.
Sheikh Ali set up the Mogadishu premium laundry amid insecurity and founded.
The killers reportedly escaped from crime scene.
Somali Prime Minister, Hassan Ali Khaire has strongly condemned the murder of Mohamud.
Meanwhile, Somali security forces launched an investigation over the murder, but no arrests were made so far.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the killing in the capital of Mogadishu.
