Somalia’s Minister of Livestock, Sheikh Nur Mohamed Hassan says Saudi Arabia lifted a ban on livestock imports from his country.

This move paves the way for export of livestock to the Middle East nation

Hassan told journalists that the livestock trade will officially be back in business after Saudi Arabia had lifted the ban on livestock from Somalia.

Saudi Arabia imports 80% of Somalia’s livestock, which sail from the ports of Berbera, Bosaso, Mogadishu and other towns.
