Road mishap injures 3 people in central Somalia

MOGADISHU – At least three people have been injured when a vehicle they were travelling in went upside down in Wasali area in Mudug region.

The accident happened after the driver lost the control of the vehicle and overturned, leaving at least three people wounded, according to residents.

Two of the victims are reported to be in serious condition.

The injured people were immediately rushed into hospital, residents said.

There are no traffic lights anywhere in Somalia. The poor condition of most roads makes driving hazardous.
