Qatari delegation pays visit to Somalia’s Jowhar

MOGADISHU, Somalia — Qatari delegation has paid a visit to Jowhar town, some 91km north of Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Somalia’s Hirshabelle state president Mohamed Abdi Ware in Jowhar town.

Qatari officials held talks with President Ware, discussing on road construction project and building Adale port of Somalia.

The move comes days after Qatar was accused of funding a terror attack in Bosaso town of Somalia’s Puntland region.
