MOGADISHU – Qatari delegation has met with Somali Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire after arriving in Mogadishu.
Somalia’s Minister of Ports, Maryan Aweys Jama says Qatari delegation arrived to supervise and monitor on the port of Somalia to determine the ports needed for the construction.
She says the visit of the delegation is opportunity for the creation of jobs and economic growth for Somalia.
This visit of Qatar’s delegation comes after Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed (Farmaajo) visited to Doha, the capital of Qatar, where he signed ports deals with Qatar.
