At least six people died after a medical charity’s light aircraft crashed in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi.
The Amref Flying Doctors’ Cessna took off from Wilson Airport and was heading to Hargeisa in Somalia before being crashed into a residential area.
Four on board, including medical staff and pilot, died along with two people on the ground, officials said.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is reportedly underway.
The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority said the plane lost radio and radar contact three minutes after takeoff.
Amref confirmed four crew members were aboard on a medical mission.
