Nearly 10 people injured in Ethiopia explosion

At least 9 people have been injured in grenade bomb explosion at university located in Ethiopia’s Southern regional state, officials said.

A grenade was thrown in the library hall of Dilla university, leaving at least 9 students injured according to Local media outlet Radio Fana.

The victims were immediately taken into hospital for medical treatment, police said.

The president of the Dilla university, Negash told media that he was working together with law enforcement officials to catch the perpetrators of the grenade attack.

No group says it carried out the attack.

But nearby areas have recently witnessed deadly clashes between ethnic Gedeos and ethnic Oromos .
