Mortar attack in Somali capital woundes 5 people

At least five people have been reportedly wounded in mortar attack in Somali capital Mogadishu .

Eyewitness in Mogadishu’s Wadajir district told Mareeg over the phone that at least five were wounded when several mortars landed in Kawa-godey village.

Women and children are among wounded people.

Wednesday’s mortar attack comes just moments after the presidential inauguration ceremony concluded at former air force base in Mogadishu.

Last week at least 32 people were killed, including Somali government soldiers, in an attack that targeted in Kawa-godey market in Mogadishu and over 50 others wounded.
