Mayor Osman was still unconscious and needs emergency medical treatment, according to a local government official, who asked to be anonymous.

The mayor of the Somali capital of Mogadishu was wounded and ten others killed in a suicide bomb attack on a government building.

Somalia’s Minister of Information Mohamed Abdi Hayir said two district commissioners were also among those who were killed in the attack.
