Kenyan strike kills two people in Somalia
Kenyan fighter jets launched an airstrikes near Garbaharey town in Somalia, killing at least two civilain people, according to local residents.
The fighter jets fired 5 missiles at residential area and a farm, about 15km away from the town, leaving two civilian people dead, a witness said.
He says 20 nomadic animals had also been killed in the bombings carried out by Kenyan warplanes.
Somali military says the strikes were aimed at targeting bases controlling under by Al Qaeda linked Al Shabaab.
The military declined to comment civilian killings claims.
Last year, Kenya has declared war on an Islamist group in Somalia and its army crossed into southern Somalia to pursue al-Shabaab, which it blames for a series of kidnappings.
