Kenyan national shot dead in Somalia
MOGADISHU, Somalia — A Somalia’s semi-autonomous state of Puntland soldier has shot and killed a Kenyan national in Bosaso town, a commercial hub in the north of Somalia.
The victim, whose name has not been released was gunned down by a soldier, according to police.
The police say the victim was working for a fishing company in the town.
The killer was reportedly arrested.
Meanwhile, a soldier was injured on Monday after bomb explosion went off in Bosaso town.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the Monday’s explosion.
But, such attacks are often carried out by Al Shabaab and Islamic State groups.
