At least ten people including children have been killed after Kenyan fighter jets hit Gedo region in South Somalia.
Residents of Dhamas town have told the media that the early morning attack has resulted death of ten civilians including under age children.
The attacked small town is under the territory controlled by armed group Al Shabaab but there was no report on Al shabaab casualty or strike on their base.
Kenya air force often carry out attacks in the region which is has strong presence of Al Shabaab fighters which has carried out deadly attacks inside Kenya.
Last week Al Shabaab attack killed 14 quarry workers in the border town of Mandera near Somalia border.
