“We don’t have details of the crash. I just received information a while ago,” Bogita Ongeri, spokesman for the Kenya Defense Forces, told Anadolu Agency by phone.
No details are available yet regarding a death toll.
“What we know is that the plane had passengers and was flying from Al-Wak to Nairobi. We have sent a special rescue team,” the spokesman said.
Asked about the cause of the crash, Ongeri said: “We can only do so [speculate on the cause] after the rescue team and our investigators have reached the place of the crash and gathered the necessary information.”
