Kenya accuses UN of funding Al Shabaab

MOGADISHU, Somalia – Kenyan government has accused United Nations of pouring billions to al Qaeda linked Al Shabaab group in Somalia.

Macharia Kamau, Kenya’s Foreign Affairs Principal Secretary accused UN of giving 10 per cent of humanitarian aid to Al Shabaab in Somalia.

He says UN funded A Shabaab terrorists to grant safe passage of food and other supplies in war-torn regions controlled.

Kenya has troops operating under African Union mission known as AMISOM in Somalia, while continue fighting against Al Shabaab.
